Runes & Masteries

Runes are an important part of League Of Legends because they provide a variety of early,mid,and late game support depending on the types of runes you buy.If there is one thing I know now that I wish i should have known earlier is that you should not spend your Ip points on runes that are not tier 3 considering you will just recycle them later on and have wasted your Ip.You should always use runes that compliment your style of game play for your most played characters.For example,if you play with most carries or mages you should have a page for each type of character and to maximize your effectiveness use masteries that compliment your runes.Buying per level runes help to maximize late game effectiveness, however, if you put these runes to use on a champion who is naturally less effective as the game progresses your are contradicting your strategy.On to masteries, they are even more effective than runes.With masteries you will want to take points in things that really make a difference rather than just putting a point because you have one.IE one point in reducing time dead by 4% is better than one point resulting in 2armor points.
